Primetime review - when journalists create the news
There’s an online debate whether director Lance Oppenheimer has traduced the real Chris Hansen with Primetime, a feature film about Hansen’s glory days as an investigative journalist for NBC. Admirers (and lesser imitators) of his technique feel their hero has been misrepresented. But what strikes me as more unsettling is the role of the police.
